[Accidental Video]

[Lucifer is watching a video on his laptop, but the video itself can't be seen. The astute or obsessed with Disney movies may recognize the background music playing as from the opening of Up, however.

What is more interesting is Lucifer's reaction, however. He starts off smiling and chuckling, and about a minute and a half in he looks more like he's been emotionally punched in the face. He starts smiling again more gradually this time, like he expects the video to pull another trick on him, and about three and a half minutes in? All smiles are definitely gone.

That's the point where he starts sniffling, and by the time the video a minute later is over he's full-on crying.]

Stupid... kids' movie....

[He hasn't noticed being recorded yet.]

[Lucifer looks up and his eyes go wide. He frantically starts wiping all evidence of tears away.]

You didn't see nothin'!

Ah--if you say so...

I'm not even sure what you were watching.

Here. Watch that and don't say I didn't warn you, 'cause I did.

[She watches, leaning close into the camera to see. It doesn't take long for her to tear up a bit.]

Oh my... I don't understand some parts but I get the gist of it. It's rather sad...

It's not like I care about stuff like this. Just when it's really sad, alright.

I'm not even sure what this is so I'm not in a position to judge you.

It's the opening to a movie. It's like a recorded story.

That's a very sad story, then.

I hear there's a happy part about the old man afterwards but like hell I'm gonna dignify this movie with more of my time.

True, it doesn't seem like the type of thing that a devil would be interested in...

I like movies. Just not this one. This movie offended me personally. It lured me in with false promises of a happy story and then did that to me.

[rosejam]

I thought you would like sad endings.

[strippedofgrace]

When people get punished for doing stuff wrong, that's Hell and that's my job. I like my job, I'm proud of doing good work down there.

When good people just are sad 'cause crappy stuff happens to them, that's bad luck, and it sucks to watch.

Oh, that makes sense. If they deserve it then... I understand.

Well, it does make a certain amount of sense.

There is nothing that says a devil can't have sense! If anything, it makes your job easier...right?
